Good morning ladies! The rest of the week we are going to do Popcorn cinema week!
We'll do ensembles each day that are inspired by a movie that we either love or would provide good dramatic inspiration. I'm going to start off today and if you all have movies you'd like to do for the rest of the week let me know in comments below or pm me!
I LOVE Something's Gotta Give, with Diane Keaton and Jack Nicholson! It always relaxes me and makes me laugh, strangely it inspires me to work harder
and that beach house is fantastic!!! I also love how Diane Keaton's character, Erica, wears the simplest clothing and jewelry and somehow manages to look so great in it. She's obsessed with turtlenecks in this movie even though it is summer, which I think is partly in the script because in real life she hates exposing her neck, and Harry (Jack) makes fun of her for it. And her daughter, Marin (Amanda Peet), wears adorable dresses that are colorful and also wears swimsuits! Noooo!
And the sister, Frances McDormand, who's the funniest is the crunchy granola with my favorite pick of hers being her "Boys Lie" t-shirt.
So this would be a great movie to base a look off of for summer that is simple and beachy and you could add a swimsuit for if you wanted! Here are some pics for inspiration:

Here's Johnny!

Good luck, ladies! And remember to:

2Oh! What's it called? lol The one with Mandy Moore? I can't remember the name!
3Because I Said So
I think that's what it's called. I haven't seen it. But it looks cute.
4Diane Keaton looks SO good for her age!! Talk about aging gracefully!!
5I have never seen this movie, but I'll try to make an outfit based around what you said
6It's such a cute movie - very funny!!
